About Us

The Auralta Skating Club was formed in 1972 and became a member of SKATE CANADA in 1975. Our display case exhibits the first registration form, an interesting piece of club history.

In 2002 the club was renamed Extreme Edge Skating Club to greater reflect the clubs spirit of enthusiasm.

We are very proud to be operation out of the Londonderry Recreation Complex as our office location, new ice surface, new dressing rooms, fitness facility, and dance studio are second to none.

Our Success

Since 1972, The Club has turned its positive approach to skating into a lot of success.

We are fortunate to have some of the top skating coaches and trainers in Edmonton with national and international experience.

Through their guidance, Extreme Edge Skating Club has become one of the fastest growing clubs in Edmonton.


Our Goal

To provide all skaters with a positive atmosphere and give the athletes the opportunity to test, compete, progress, and develop skills that will enable them to reach their ultimate potential.

More importantly, our athletes develop commitment, concentration, goal setting, team building, and social skills that they may carry with them throughout their lives.
