To keep the cost of ice fees down for your child/children, every year, the club raises money through various activities (selling of raffle tickets, silent auction, skate-a-thon, etc.).
Each year, family's are required to do $500 worth of fundraising to help decrease the high cost of ice fees.
Here are some of the ways the club can help you to finance your child's skating:
Casino- The club relies heavily on the Casino to help keep the cost of the ice fees down. This year the club had it's Casino in May, so our next Casino won't be until the spring of 2012.
Skate-A-Thon - The date for this year's upcoming Skate-A-Thon will be posted shortly. To see an example of a poster to publicize your child in the Skate-A-Thon, click here. For additional pledge sheets click here.
Rexall Events - The club has been working the Rexall concessions for the past 5 years. During the 5 years, the Extreme Edge volunteers have been able to raise over $100,000 to help pay off fundraising commitments, pay off ice fees, coaches fee, skating equipment, competition costs, etc. If you are interested in working Rexall, click on the "Rexall Concession" link under the "FUNDRAISING" menu to find out more information.
Sponsors - You can also get sponsors to the club, as a way to reach your fundraising goal. Click here to view a sponsor letter.
Other - If you have any ideas to do fundraising and want to use the club's name, please contact the Extreme Edge Parent's Association to get the approval. We also may be able to find other parents who would like to participate.
