Welcome to Extreme Edge Skating Club

The Auralta Skating Club was formed in 1972 and became a member of SKATE CANADA in 1975. In 2002 the club was renamed Extreme Edge Skating Club to reflect the club's spirit of enthusiasm.

Extreme Edge Skating Club's mandate is to provide all skaters/athletes with the opportunity to learn how to skate. Whether it's competitive figure skating or pleasure skating to stay active for life, we strive to provide a positive atmosphere and equitable opportunities for all skaters to reach their full potential.

Furthermore, the Extreme Edge Skating Club promotes life skills and fitness in youth. This is achieved by facilitating off-ice training, goal setting and learn-to-coach programming. Skaters in Extreme Edge programs also learn time management, commitment, independence, working through failure, and developing healthy and respectful personal relationships that are often life-long.

Our Success

We've been fortunate to have some of the best skating coaches and trainers in Alberta with national experience. Through their guidance, Extreme Edge Skating Club has become one of the fastest-growing clubs in Edmonton.
